What it is, and when to use it
Addresses from ranges we hold registrations for, announced from our ASN in facilities we contract directly. Nothing is resold, so you can confirm provenance with a registry lookup. Dedicated by default: an address assigned to you is used by no one else for as long as you hold it.
Reach for datacenter proxies when volume is the constraint: high-throughput collection, internal load testing, and API integrations that need a fixed, allowlistable origin but do not need consumer-ISP reputation. Of the four lines, datacenter has the lowest latency.
Dedicated, never shared, and registered to us
Data center proxies are sold shared, where one address carries several customers' traffic at once, or dedicated, where it carries one customer's alone. Every address on this line is dedicated, the arrangement some vendors list as private proxies: no other customer's traffic leaves through it while you hold it. The ranges are registered to us and announced from our own network, not resold, so the holder of any address you are assigned is a public registry record you can check yourself. Our explainer on IP provenance sets out what that record should show for datacenter, ISP and residential addresses.

We say in writing where addresses may come from, and where they may not.
Our supply-chain policy is a public document. It names the acquisition channels we permit (consented SDK partners, direct ISP leases, registered ranges we announce ourselves, and modems we operate) and what is prohibited: addresses obtained through malware, bundled software the user did not knowingly install, compromised devices, botnet infrastructure, or any resale chain we cannot trace to its origin. We do not buy pools from brokers. Where we cannot establish how an address was acquired, we do not sell access to it.

What does dedicated mean?
One customer per address. An address assigned to you carries no other customer's traffic for as long as you hold it, and no datacenter address on this network is sold as shared.
How do I confirm the ranges are registered to you?
Look up any address you are assigned in a public registry, through WHOIS or RDAP. The record names the organization that holds the range and the network that announces it, which is how you check the address is ours rather than resold.
Can I choose the country my addresses are announced from?
Yes. Datacenter addresses are available across 60+ countries and 39 facilities, and you choose the country at checkout.
Is there a minimum order?
No published minimum beyond the address itself. Order the quantity the job needs.
Is there a trial before I commit to a term?
Yes. Datacenter includes a paid trial before you commit to a longer term.
Do longer terms cost less?
Yes, on top of the volume rate. The term ladder above lists the current discounts.
What happens if an address gets flagged or blocked?
We replace it within 1 hour, and service credits apply pro-rata plus 20% for any address that falls below target.
How does datacenter compare to ISP for reputation-sensitive work?
ISP carries consumer-ISP reputation; datacenter does not claim to. Choose datacenter when how the origin reads to the target does not matter, and lower latency or a faster replacement does.
